Dressing for outdoor learning.

Our playground has been transformed into a muddy wonderland for the children. We want to remind families to send in extra clothing (don't forget the socks) and appropriate clothing for outdoor play.  Your child is outside for an hour each day, weather permitting of course!

Learning experiences happen both inside and outside. Outdoor play is an important part of your child's daily experience at school. Did you know that kids who spend more time outdoors are less stressed, more creative, have sharper memories, longer attention spans and even better social relationships? Of course, the children won't be swimming in mud puddles but they will be exploring the environment through hands-on investigations, which could lead to muddy clothes at times. Stay tuned for upcoming information regarding children and outdoor experiences!
