We are exploring capacity!
Today we decided to have an apple juice break together. We asked our class if they thought the jug of juice could fill the 26 little cups we had laid out? 
After enjoying our juice break, the children were invited to further explore capacity at our water centre. 
We asked the children to put up their hand if they thought there was enough juice to fill the 26 cups.
We discovered that there was not quite enough juice in the one container, so we had to open a second jug.

Lunch time "restaurants"!
Did you know that your child eats at a restaurant every day? To encourage the children to clean up after themselves, we asked them to think of their lunch table as a restaurant. The children worked in their lunch groups to name their restaurant. Each "restaurant" needs to clean up its dining table after lunch. The children are really enjoying this approach and they look forward to collecting points for keeping their "restaurant" clean. Every two weeks we reward a restaurant that has consistently kept their area clean.

We have children in our classroom and school who have life-threatening peanut and nut allergies. If you are going to send a soy spread, please label the container. Thank you!
Fun in the gym
We regularly visit the gym and play games with the K2 class. Today we played an Easter Bunny game. Ask your child about their experience!
