Board Games

We often play simple board games in class as they build upon so many of our numeracy goals (e.g., number recognition, counting forwards and backwards, 1:1 counting,
recognizing quantities without counting).

The children were so interested in board games, that we thought they each might like to make one of their own. We started off by looking at one of their favourite games to determine what things they would need to include in their game. This is what they came up with:
